This is a beautiful plant. I even like its garlicky odor. A structural plant, valuable for lending substance to a bed.

I can't wait... I have 4 or 5 heads like this on this one plant alone... .it self seeded round the garden so I have another 4 plants the same. They are lovely at this time of year when you're waiting for things to happen.

Fantastically intersting plant. And don''t they self seed prolifically. My neighbnour, in the garden behind mine has a shaded area under a huge fiel Maple and a great big clump of these Hellebores appeared 2 years ago and has just spread and spread. She didn't have any before so I can only imagine seed has blown there from my garden or another neighbour.

What else?

See who else is growing Helleborus foetidus (Hellebore).

See who else has plants in genus Helleborus.

This photo is of "Stinking Hellebore" in Sal1914's garden
