Glaucium corniculatum - 2020

Glaucium corniculatum - 2020 (Glaucium corniculatum)

This is a biennial or short-lived perennial I have been growing for five years. It likes full sun and good drainage and has self-sown in these conditions. So I was somewhat surprised to see this one come up in another part of the garden in semi-shade in a moist soil

I grow the yellow G. flavum, seeds easily, looked yours up, and see there is an orange flavum (variety aurantiacum)

This has kept going by self-sowing, but the seedlings in the original area are tiny and won't flower this year

Biennial, flowering then.
