Gladiolus papilio contained in a pot

siris

By Siris

Gladiolus papilio contained in a pot (Gladiolus papilio (Goldblotch Gladiolus))

An autumn gladiolus flowering in a pot now, Sept1. The books say clump forming, but it creeps away from its original spot in the garden becoming a nuisance.

The flowers not as big as a border Glad, only open this far.
Luckily the leaf spike is slightly glaucus so it's possible to distinguish from borders and root unwanted ones out.
