It's getting colder down there and according to the weather forecast, the lowest temperature will go down to minus 3 this week. I hope this coming winter won't be as bad as the one we had a few years ago; it was the coldest winter in 25 years (or something like that) and it went down to -17 degrees (c). One of our radiator bursted, water in the loo froze (lol) and we lost loads of plants; cordylines, phormiums, to name a few. I brought in most of my non-hardy plants but haven't dug up turmeric yet.
