Dryopteris dilatata 'Crispa Whiteside' (Dryopteris dilatata)

A form of the broad buckler fern, reaching two feet. Usually deciduous but may keep its fronds in sheltered places in mild winters

Jacque - no, it's usually deciduous although in a sheltered spot in a mild winter, it may keep its fronds.

Amy - the species can reach three to four feet but this form doesn't get taller than a couple of feet
