Dierama dracomontanum

AndrewR

By Andrewr

Dierama dracomontanum (Dierama dracomontanum)

Probably the easiest of the dieramas and clumps up quite quickly. Needs an open sunny position in soil that does not dry out but doesn't become waterlogged either. Height about three feet with variable flower colour

I've got a Dierama but not sure which type it is. Does this grow from a corm ?

Yes, dieramas grow from a corm and are deep rooting. Because of this, they do not move well are not really suitable for growing in pots either
