Make sure you check the root on the acer for wevel

It eats the roots Sanbaz, particularly in pot grown plants!

ok so how do i know if i have them paul? will they show on top of composs

No, they are down in the compost, but you'd soon know as the plant would look very poorly. There are various Weevils(I think) but Vine Weevil are the most common. I've noticed damage from them more in the winter time.

ok thanx paul, so if i ever got them would i have to clean the roots or put something in composs

Yes, tou can buy substance to kill them. You mix with water and poor onto compost!!!
