The slow amaryllis has finally bloomed, lol... It was more than worth while. In her book on Amaryllisses, Veronica M. Read tells this is a very slow growing amaryllis. Now i know for sure that i was not doing anything wrong, lol...
This lady just prefers to take things slow :-)

I love those edges. They seem pencilled in almost like it couldn't be real. Worth the wait, I agree.

Great edges! I have one that is just peeping it's head out from the bulb :) I thought that it was a dud...guess not.
