hi FF, no, i found a tiny little sprig 2 years ago, growing out from underneath an Agave that someone gave me to nurse back to health. so i planted it in the garden and within about 6 weeks it had gone mad, so i dug it up and planted it in a pot, it is so pretty, but a real thug if left to it's own devices, i can send you a sprig if you like? if so send me your address on PM and i will post you some.

I read the top and thought OH NO! Then I read that you know it's a thug...one of the worst! It seems impossible to deal with - why our predecessors planted it, I don't know. It comes up through the grass, and spreads everywhere it shouldn't. I reckon it should be BANNED!

I love this grass, but i always keep it in pots, as before you know it, it takes over your garden.

yes i did make the mistake of finding this out the hard way, but it has now been served an ASBO and is banged up in a pot lol....it is very pretty, though...i like pretty but thugish things....after all i do have Brooke! lol - and the offer still stands if anyone wants some i have plenty, lol just don't plant it in the open garden.....

I have these grasses round my pond.......... I like plants that spread around the garden..... it makes it more of a wild feel....

lol - leaving this to run riot in the garden will certainly give you the wild feel Holly! I think i'll keep mine in the pot ;-)
