They had a great choice in the Pound shop, Jacque. Wish I'd had longer to browse but there was a bus to catch. Will look again next week when I may have more time.

You're right there, Jacque. I just needed a push! My daughters draw straws to take me to the garden centres or nurseries - none of them are really into gardening but they do humour me, bless them :)

Not yet, Jacque. My daughter is coming tomorrow morning. It's not really a good day to shop at the garden centre as I only qualify for discount on Tuesdays (OAP perk!) so I will probably just buy the compost and nothing else unless (whisper, whisper) there are some really good BARGAINS! Mind you, first Sunday of each month is boot fair day in the village and sometimes there are BARGAINS on the plant stalls there! I will have to make sure I go before church and not afterwards or I may miss out.
