The photo was taken shortly after the lawn had been laid, we had a storm with strong wind which brought loads of sticks down.

Hi there
Yes, Irish we do occasionally get flooded (the house is an old water mill) but it is something we were aware would happen occasionally when we bought it. We were told that the incidence of flooding had been once in the previous 25 years - unfortunately though we have had the water in 4 times in the past two years!! But we have set the ground floor up to cope with the situation! I may write more about this as time goes on.

What a great garden and i'm so jealous that you're next to water. Nice to see a birds eye view of the garden, you can get a feel of what is where when you post more photos.
