This is one of our most beautiful Summer flowering trees. It is native to Tropical South Africa and blooms in Summer. However, the trees in Balboa Park don't know it's still Winter. LOL! Pic taken Feb. 8, 2009.

This tree will grow and bloom in a large container...as long as it receives enough heat...which it loves. This tree can tolerate very high temperatures.
