I SHOULD drink whiskie Marguerite! lol..2 dogs, a cat, and 4 large almost adults in this small house! lol...And yes, TT, she 's is perfect in so many ways (except for the crazy shedding!) She is half lab and half Shephard -- Jacque, is that what Summers is? She takes a great picture, and she just sits there and wait, like Marilyn Monroe. lol

But she has a bit of a tragic past...She came to me after her owner died in a car crash, and her brother-dog ran away, as they were all in the car -- and they never did find him (the dog, not the man!). I knew the gentleman's fiance, and she couldn't keep her. (They called her Polar, we changed it to PoPo, and she's become Popie which rhymes with Odie..sortof!) She had lived in a crate for her entire first year, very disciplined, never spent any time outside, very beautiful, and skinny, and very scared. She came to my house and the first night she jumped on my bed and she's slept with me ever since (almost 2 years now.) She came at a time when a young friend was living with me, and her mother committed suicide. It was a horrifying time, But Popie delivered such love to my little friend Kate, and to all of us really. Loving everyone, sitting for as long as need be, head on your chest...she is of the angel world. But she's a persistant gal, and all her discipline has gone to sh..t...Must have something to do with my methods! We call her Popie true love, or Popie angel dog, but really, she's ma's girl, and she never leaves my side!
