You are probably right Terratoonie, although he is possibly also smiling because my roses are plauged with Thrip at the moment so he has very good eating ahead of him. Either way I love ladybugs so am always very careful not to disrupt them too much in case they leave my garden.

I hope so, I avoid using chemicals in the garden since I like to encourage frogs and lizards in. So the ladybugs are very welcome to come and eat my pest insects.
