This shot is standing at the top of the vegetable garden looking back towards the "Funeral Pyre" (where we do our bi-annual burn off). The tree line is the creek. On the right you can see the edge of the big water tank that keeps us in supply of water at The Big Shed and it's surrounding gardens.

It's connected to the roofing of The Big Shed to catch the rain but it also gets water from the creek. All the structures on the farm have rain water tanks though and there is also bore water so water isn't too bad an issue as long as we're conservative with it. We don't have any windmill's though, seems a bit like an un-Australian thing to do really but we got rid of the windmill's years ago.
