Fabulous small tree...does it need any special siting or soil Paulus?

Hi Janey
Ideally it needs neutral to acid soil and dappled shade.The 'flowers' are actually bracts which have the advantage of lasting longer before gradually fading. Great autumn leaf colour as well.
