View from above of the right hand side of the rear garden from above. All those conifers will be coming out this year and new hard landscaping behind and thinking of replace with some kind of water feature. The circle in the lawn is also going, square it off to make mowing easier and thinking lavender & roses (the garden has not a single rose!) 12/05/2007

How lovely having open fields behond your garden your so lucky. Regarding you wanting roses I'm a fan, I have many David Austin old fashioned roses there beautiful and really perfumed.

i'm with holly on the roses - i think they will look fab, and should do really well with lavender, as it looks as though you have a nice open and sunny site for them. i have just recently got into roses myself and i have a few now - mostly David Austin - i dont think you can get better - i think they can really make a summer garden! look forward to seeing what it looks like once your done!
