Is it a real viola covered w sugar? I have a torch for creme brulee, I wonder if that could be used to melt the sugar? Nice colors and the frosting looks nice and fluffy :)

I used fine sugar, but I think the problem was the egg white went on too thick, and too much sugar got on the violas. It is actual violas from my garden. It was my first time trying, unfortuneatly most of the violas are now dead, so I can't fool with it until I get it right.
Oh well, there's always next year (god willing)...

I dried several of my viola flowers a while back, I wonder if you could use those as well?

I'm unsure...next year will tell (i'm always busy this year and have delusions that next year I'll be finished up...AS IF...)...
