This was taken in January, probably about 2003 - the last time we had proper snow here. Although I say it myself, I do love this photo. The island in the middle is to give the wild ducks some protection when they nest, from the fox.

Thanks DoctorB - they just started to grow, along with the bullrushes with the brown heads (the bane of my life), lol. Did you see my photo of the pond taken in Summer - its a complete contrast.
