Do the thrushes feed at night when the snails come out or do they get them in the early morning before they hide away?

I have never noticed anything inparticular to be eating them..maybe that is why they are all over the place, and out during the day a fair bit.
I assume thrushes are birds? what kind are you referring to exactly?
