Peacock Flower

I like white flowers.

Its a Peacock Flower they grow from Bulbs TT :) i planted these alittle late so their still in flower:)

Very beautiful.
Is this in the ground or in a pot?
Are they the same as Acidanthera Murielae - Gladiolus Callianthus.
I grew some of these in a pot for the first time this year, and all I have is loads of leaves. No flowers. What went wrong?

Did you do anything special with yours, Jacque?
Compost ? Watering ? Feed?

I planted mine a bit Late TT :/ &Grew them in Pots 1st then planted in2position when in leaf :)Dont know if this is why ? :D

Love these, tried growing them before, and I don't think I even got leaves. What's your secret?

When planted in position, are they in good rich damp soil, or poor dry soil?

HHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm let me think! When i planted them in2 thier pots i used Compost&now there in a Clayish soil with Compost added 2 it! Its anewly Dug bed in Full Sun where they are so i guess its quite a Rich Soil only every having grass growing on it b4 TT/Debra?Hope this is some help? :D

Mine didn't flower so came out of their pots for winter storage.:o(
If you started yours in pots, at what stage did you move them to the flower bed? I would like to think that if I tried again next year, I got some flowers this time. :o)

How about you Lynwoodview. Any tips, please, on getting these to flower, rather than just loads of green upright leaves ? :o(

I planted them in2 Garden when the leaves were just popping Through the soil TT ? Their still in Flower now :D

I reckon your success is due to the way Summer watered them for you. :o) :o) :o)
