This is a picture for Palm lovers. There are several species of palms. Blk. Sugar Palm, Cuban Royal Palm, Butterfly Palm, Pygmy Date, Archontophoenix alexandre (King Alexander Palm) and back pics are: Hibiscus, Yellow African Tulip, Coral Tree (Erythrina), Dombeya cacuminum from Madagascar. This property is about 3 miles from my house in San Diego, CA.

I know about ants...they get into every plant I own. I can never get rid the ants no matter what I try to do to kill them. In fact, I had a Carpentaria acuminata that the ants killed a couple of years ago.
