we have shared our garden with Charlie and his lady friends for several years , He has been moulting for some time ,hopefully he will soon have his glorious plumage back again

I imagine that they seek out a place that they consider secure for the times when they moult...speaks well for your garden. Are pheasants monogamus like geese, or does Charlie have two or three gardens he frequents, one for each of his ladies?
