Ligularia Desdemona

Am I right in thinking this needs quite wet soil, like a marginal plant?

Sorry it has taken me abit to get back....been busy again....As to the Liggy yes she does like to have her feet kept moist. We have them planted in the borders where the other plantings keep the ground shaded and moist...In pots we stand them in water....
