Rudbeckia goldsturm

I love this Variety Janey, and I'm sure I bought one a couple of years ago,but I could be wrong ..age and all that ! lol. x.

It is a pretty one Sandra with dainty flowers. Haha, I know that feeling well, I only found my dried Dahlia seeds this summer, think I dried them about 3 years ago! x

Lol,and speaking of Dahlia seeds Janey, I had taken seeds from some you had sent me,which were beautiful,and had forgotten about them last year,and sowed them this year, so they seem to keep well.I also have some envelopes with various seeds,dated from 3 years ago too !

Do you find these are thuggish? They seem to spread like wildfire here, but they're lovely to see in this light. I bought some Deamii earlier so will see how they compare.

Haha, I'll try these next spring then Sandra. They're from the same dahlia! I remember you grew some pink ones from the seeds?

Good to see its done well for you Janey, this one is Deemii, it does spread quite a bit here too but easy to divide. The kniphofia you sent me hasn't flowered but is still in a pot

I'll remember that Daylily, for now it needs to be moved into a different spot, as it's a bit hidden where it is.
Do you know, the kniphofias last year all flowered, there were so many stems, but this year just one flower and only a small stem.
I'm not sure what's gone wrong this year Daylily, unless they're conserving they're energy for 2024!

Ahh that's a shame Janey, my other kniphofia Tawny King didn't do too bad don't think I've put a photo on this year will have a look :)
