garden centres are too expensive now Shirley , a certain shop does this wonderful deal. Aquilegias are my Mum;s favourite , I love them also .

I love these. We used to have them dotted all over the garden but sadly not so many now.

Paul, I find myself looking for plant bargains in supermarkets, greengrocers, nurseries (not Garden Centres!) these days and agree that many plants are just so very expensive. Good job my garden is filling up nicely and I don't have many gaps ... :o)

Chris, I used to have lots of them but they don't live forever! I'm hoping these will last a couple of years.

Lovely selection here, Shirley! I was tempted to buy another this week.I've only one here. I may still pick one up...you're right, garden centres are quite expensive, even the supermarkets are competition for them now.

Kate, I despair of our local supermarket with their trollies of plants as they are indoors and it's impossible to water them without a flood! I'm sure they throw away more than they sell ... :o(

I must agree, Shirley. I spotted bargain prices yesterday. Some plants looked fine, but some looked in dire need of a good drink. Very sad.
