Liatris Spicata

Bought this yesterday to replace my Monarda - which has completely vanished since planted last early summer...no sign at all!
I do like the other name of this, Gayfeather. Sounds very cottagey and sweet.

I just bought 30 corms of Liatris recently,.... still in a bag. Waiting for rain to stop (hopefully one day it will). I had it before and it is quite showy Kate, more than Monarda. IMHO.

Crikey, that should look very pretty, when in flower, Klahanie! I can just imagine it. It'll be fab for your wildlife. I'm pleased you said it's more showy than the Monarda. Goodness knows where that has gone!!!! It's simply vanished. No sign of anything at all.

Thanks, Jane. I was looking around the GC for a while on Saturday, trying to find a replacement..
I wanted something that'd flower for a time.
Yes, I can't see any sign of my Monarda either. It's like I never planted it. Let me know if you have any joy. Fingers crossed.
