I admire your photos with the black backgrounds, shows the details of the flower off superbly. Ive a Dietes growing in my garden but it only flowers the once.

I first saw one of these in Perth, Australia. It was growing by some railroad tracks. It is the best of the Dietes species as the others are rather plain.

I like this flower, Wylie. I think the first time I ever saw it was on GoY a couple of years ago. I think a lady from Brazil was growing it. It comes up from time to time amongst the groups I monitor on Flickr.
