Moving hellebores.

There was some discussion on here a few days ago about the advisability of moving hellebores.
This one was moved to a pot after it had finished flowering last year. The shock doesn't seem to have done it any harm at all.

I moved one into the new woodland garden I am creating, but weeks later, I can't even see it! Maybe it will start to grow when the weather warms up!

very pretty, I think moving after flowering is the best time but they do have a brittle root system.

Thank you, Siris.

Lots of new babies have popped up in my garden just recently, Rose, so hopefully you will see yours soon!

Thanks, Shirley. I have to admit that the picotees are my least favourite.

Perhaps I was just lucky, SBG!

Best time to move it is after flowering I've found. I cut all the old leaves off too.
