K, I do like to visit small plant nurseries, especially family-run ones but the big Garden Centres all now seem to have a cafe/restaurant, along with all the sundry items required for gardening, pet supplies, some have clothing outlets too.

I agree Shirley. Nothing like a spot of lunch then a stroll around the GC? I prefer to go to the independent ones as some of the bigger groups tend to be rather pricey I find. What did you have for lunch may I ask?

Cheese, ham & tomato filled croissant, mug of coffee and, very naughtily, a small slice of Bakewell tart. That made the blood glucose rise, but, hey ho, you've got to indulge now and then!

That all sounds totally delicious! Naughty but nice... Well, you have to sometimes don't you? :-)

Ps. I read somewhere that planting sacrificial polyanthus helps to keep the Weevil away from precious plants.
