Pinks and Purples...

The Syringa Josee still blooming and fragrant, the tall alliums (4 have flowered and one is almost fully open) looking architectural and a hydrangea which is off pic will have lovely pink blousy blooms.

Thank you, Ange.yes, I think it is actually, I’ve a couple of clematis which are both pinkish or purplish colouring. My solanum ‘glasnevin’ is a mauveish purplish colour too. Plus some of the rockery plants have pink or purple flowers.
I’m not sure why it’s evolved this way? Maybe it is an unconscious bias? Indoors, I’ve warmer colours in upholstery and the like...so maybe it’s the contrasting effect.

Lovely. Is your garden mostly purple at the moment, Kate? I noticed yesterday mine is predominantly that colour, (not by design). Must be 'unconscious bias'!
