This opened a couple of days ago. It grows outside when it starts to put up a bud. I had to bring it inside during Storm Lola that has been passing through with winds that made it impossible to get a photo because the stalk wouldn't stay still for the time it takes to focus and take a photo. One bud did get blown off, so it spent 2 days inside under the grow lights.

When I decided to get a few Hippeastrum bulbs, I went with the cybister types instead of the usual round forms.
