Mahonia aquifolium oregon grape

in our forest blooming. Native to the region called Pacific North West (PNW) which includes coastal Oregon, Washington State, Vancouver Island and coastal part of BC. but it does not have an exact defined boundaries.The area have plentiful rainfall, mild winters and summers. There are numerous Islands along this coast with Vancouver Island (where we live) being the largest.

A very nice plant to have in your forest, Klahanie. Do the flowers open up on this mahonia? They do look pretty little ‘buds’.
