Under the Red Camellia

Under the Red Camellia (Vinca Mina variegata)

The dropped flowers look quite pretty lying amongst the variegated Vinca. The Snowdrops have finished flowering, must cut off the seed capsules, have more than sufficient all over the garden.

fallen flowers often have a special appeal don't they. That double pink cherry is a case in point. where I worked had a drive lined with them and when the petals fell it looked like pink snow.

Thank you SBG. I do sweep them up from the pavement.

A pretty combination ,the V. Vinca is an ideal ground cover.

Thank you. I find this Vinca is not too rampant, and over exuberant pieces are easily pulled out. It is however contained on 3 sides , by the Camellia root, the front wall, and the driveway.
