Skimmia 'Kew Green'

Skimmia 'Kew Green' (Skimmia 'Kew Green')

There are usually only green buds on this but this year there is a small clump of red buds.

I think it did the same thing last year.

Could the flowers have been pollinated by pollen from different types of Skimmia?

That cant happen as Kew green is a male only flower so there is nothing to pollinate. But a good thought Thorney.
