verbena bonariensis

I made few flower pots in spring for our deck and by mistake I put this verbena bonariensis in one of them thinking that I planted trailing verbena.
What a surprise when these very tall stalks came out.
They are being cut and put in a vase on outside table.

Very pretty capture, Klahanie. Great detail too, especially the burgundy and mauveish colouring.
