Its Mango season. Doc. (Mangifera indica (Mango))

Almost ready to pick. The next photo shows how the trees branches were nearly touching the ground from the fruit. I later tied it up..helped,but I need to get tall stakes.

Wonderful! Probably my favourite fruit! You lucky fellow. I can almost taste them from way over here!

Stan,

Those mangoes are awesome! You are the Mango King of Hayward! LOL!

This was an excellent year for mangoes! The trees here in San Diego are and were dripping with mangoes! I noticed over the last month they have been harvested. Many as early as early July were ready to be picked.

I'm sure the mangoes loved the extreme heat we've been getting in California. We had heat indices around San Diego in the 108 - 118 degree range the last two and half weeks. HORRIBLE! The humidity was off the charts high!

What else?

See who else is growing Mangifera indica (Mango).

See who else has plants in genus Mangifera.
