Rabbits foot fern. Or some furry creature. (Phlebodium aureum.)

Being that the roots are orange...lol.
This fern had split the plastic pot it was in.
Now in ground where those roots can spread above and below ground.
Orange roots,blue fronds. Colorful fern.

That's a weird one Stan! More like ginger tom cat's tails from where I'm looking.

Interesting, Stan! I see what you mean, it looks like a ginger beastie with tentacles.

I have to correct my furry animals. Its common name is bear paw.
Thorney,Kate I hear it's hot in the UK,How are you enjoying that?

Thanks for the name, Stan. Bear paw cactus, I’ve googled it now.
Yes, it’s been pretty hot here, sunshine most welcome. Not so keen on the heat while at work - thank goodness for air conditioning in my car while I’m driving from patient to patient.

Not much at all Stan but thanks for asking. Every day on the news they say "the hottest place today was Heathrow" which is where I live. We've had 37+ on quite a few days and it's stayed hot at night too. Tuesday night it didn't go below 27 and last night wasn't much better. We had thunder but barely a few drops of rain yet at my son's about three miles away they had torrential rain.
