My private fern

This region of the mountain has a lot of tree fern (Xaxim). Some land here is not sold because it has many xaxins, which prevents construction. Within our domain area we have 3 xaxins. Only one of them stayed inside the property. The two others are on the back sidewalk.

Beautiful specimen! I have 2 small tree ferns, but, this is amazing.

The grow rate is very slow. It grows 5 to 8cm /year. Considering this one is about 2,5m you can imagine how old it is.
