Lilium lancifolium (Lilium lancifolium)

A Turks cap Lily differing from Henryi in having darker orange flowers and producing bulbils up the stem. Easily grown from them. Equally as tall as Henryi.

The anthers are amazing... and the pollen really stains. But happy memories of picking the bulbils as a child, when play picnicking with my tea set! The hummingbirds visited the ones my Mom grew beneath our livingroom window, in Muskoka. They're a source of delight and good memories. will have to remember all those combos when I find some.
