Dd, My Creeping Jenny always suffers in the border thro' lack of water. I'm going to plagiarise your idea. I would think yours is in a pot stood on a (concave?) top.

Yes we have turned the water butt rubber top upside down...and planted jenny in an old barbecue!! you're welcome to pinch the idea!!

I wish I could pinch your idea but I can't use the tap on my butt & have to get the water by dipping in the can..( it has a lid).
