No I cut it back and dig it up, and store it in a dry place, then in spring start it off in a pot in a warm place, before planting out, but this time its got really big, 1 ear was3 foot long by 2 foot wide.

Yes your right Marquerite, its the same thing, with the tree fern from New zealand
