One of the perks of hybridizing is that you get to name flowers that you register. Since my grandmother didn't have a flower with her name, I used it for this one when I registered it last year.

People like to plant memorials for someone using flowers that have their name, so I went one step further and used her full name. She died in 1990 at 101 years old.
