He looks how I feel after another miserable day weather wise. I like him, I’ve fancied one for a while.

Its a groteque Dottydaisy gargoyles spout water. He s lovely.

He is wearing my expression! Freezing here again today. I have just been out and removed two Rosemarys, all the Salvias in the Rose border, my Myrtle and a Cistus. All of them badly damaged by the winds. I've ordered some nice long-flowering bullet-proof hardy Geraniums for under the roses, but I'll have to have a think about those evergreen shrubs. Thank goodness Roses are as tough as boots...well, most of them.

Oh dear Karen thats not good to lose so many plants......but the ones you mention are more suited to warmer climates, i.e. the Med, Myrtle can struggle here!you can't go wrong with Hardy Geraniums, can you..

I wonder if he's fed up
of all the flippin rain!
Perhaps he needs a sweetheart
to brighten up his day,
then he'll feel much brighter
like the sun today.
