Dahlia coccinea - 2017 (Dahlia coccinea)

Relatively hardy for a dahlia, this can be left in the ground in sheltered parts of southern England. It survived fourteen consecutive nights of frost last winter (with a minimum temperature of -4C). Well-drained soil in a sunny position. Flowers from late summer on three feet tall stems.
