Plumbago auriculata

Plumbago auriculata

I grew this shrub from seed. It blooms on new wood, so around January it gets cut way back.

Yes you are very lucky Wylie some thing we don't get much here hence why we lack vitamin D how is your road being built going.

That road was completed a couple of years ago. It is used by not only the farmers, but as a detour when the main road is shut for the street bull fights. There is one section so steep that a couple of tractors have lost traction and plowed into the stone walls. The area doesn't get a lot of sun in the winter and the road turns green from the moss.

Thats wonderful its now complete good idea habing it for the farmers and a ny psss when they close the street for the bull fights

Yes I have seen all your photos of tge steep slope in the road also knocking that beautiful wall down Perhaps putting grit down on the mossy part might solve it.

The steep part is asphalt. The cement rain gutters along the side don't have the problem, just where the rough surface traps a little moisture for the moss to grow. I have to go up and down it almost every day because the woods that I own is at the top of it.

That would be make it slippy under foot to so really you need a smooth surface as moss wont grow on a smooth surface.

For every 1000 square feet 4 oz of dish soap mixed in 2 gallons of water kills moss on grass if that helps.
