Do you eat the fruits Tommy? Often see them in markets in the south of France.

I do, sometimes but I'm not really keen. I made jelly last year and the colour was beautiful.

What do they taste like? Don't say Opuntias!

Not much taste, to tell you the truth. Just sweet, partly because of the amount of sugar I used, but the fruits don't taste much in the first place; it's a bit like water melons.

Why better not to say "Opuntias", by the way? Sorry, I couldn't get it (*_*;

What else?

See who else is growing Opuntia ficus-indica (Barbary Fig).

See who else has plants in genus Opuntia.
