A very old heritage variety, possibly Alcazar or Lent A Williamson, Much darker than my flowers or is it the photo interpretation.

Hi

It is dark , could be my soil as colour changes with the dayliys as well .
I will see if this one has a plant label

Might be Senlac, that too is similar. What sort of soil do you have? Mine is on the edge of plateau gravel, dries rock hard in the summer, with the clay component. If I have worked added compost it it is quite loose and dry, neutral to slightly acidic. I could grow Rhododendrons, etc.

I have just checked the label and it says "like alcazar"

Its old river bed as any diging I do its smooth roundish stones , very well drained .

'Like Alcazar', ok, never knew it's real name.
Sounds like my soil conditions, lots of smooth pebbles just above the clay pan. All the pebbles for the lawn edging came from my ground.
