Yes it certainly will, have to try a smaller solar one, have been looking for pond plants today!!..so expensive! going to have to shop around!

Yes a small one would do for the pot. Have you looked in adverts in shop windows or papers or even the net as people do give pond plants away if they collect them I ve had some for free by shop window adds I had an egg yoke lilly also Irises .
