Geranium

Bought for a £1 on a day out recently, just labeled as pink geranium, any ideas on the name anyone?,it is a much brighter colour than the pictures showing, one of those that send out very long stems in all directions.

Good value. The sprawly ones can be induced to scamble up shrubs.

That does look familiar the trouble being there are so many that look the same, a bargain at a £1.00

I've planted it near a log seat Siris to try and get it to scramble over one side of it :-)
Yes it looks familiar to me to Dd I must have seen it on here I think, I also got a lovely size plant of penstemon sour grapes for £1.50 bit late to plant that out I think so its in the greenhouse for next year, its big enough to take cuttings then too :-)

It looks like Ann Folkard but that is much more "shocking" colour. That's got very leggy stems.

How about Geranium patricia, as I think the eye is correct

Thorny, agree the colour is wrong for Anne Foulkard, I have got mine to scramble 5 ft upwards thro' a shrub.

It's a bit like 'Ann Folkard', but as Dotty says, there are so many!

I agree Ann Folkard. If it is, it does travel. I've moved mine to scramble up Sambucus black tower - well that's the plan.

I lost Ann Folkard, that reminds me I must buy another one, but she has more yellow foliage....I think it may be Ann Thompson, see what you think , Geranium Patricia is much more cerise pink, well ours is lol!!

Thankyou everyone , I've googled Ann Folkard and it does look like it!!, It was very hard to capture the colour, all the pictures came out this washed out colour not what it looks like in the flesh at all, its only been planted a few weeks and is sending off stems 2-3ft long , it was that bright colour that drew me to it :-)

Oh Dd Ann Thompson looks the same too!! Suppose I'll never know for sure but I love it whatever it's name :-)

Dds right, ann's leaves are more yellow
